Field Trip Info
We are pleased to invite your school community to participate in an immersive, hands-on field trip experience at Camel’s Hump Farm Nature Education Center, a 47-acre nature education center and preserve located on the historic Archibald Johnston Estate in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Our 300-year-old farm is dedicated to environmental education, experiential learning, and community connection. Camel’s Hump Farm provides students with the opportunity to step outside the classroom and engage directly with the natural world through meaningful learning.

During a visit to Camel’s Hump Farm, students can:
-
Explore forest trails and natural play areas
-
Meet and care for our farm animals
-
Learn by doing through hands-on activities in gardening, building, and land-care activities
-
Discover the importance of habitat restoration and climate health
-
Develop curiosity, responsibility, and environmental awareness through experiential learning
Our programs are rooted in learning through action, encouraging students to get their hands dirty, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of ecology, sustainability, and their relationship to the land. Field trips can be tailored to specific grade levels, curriculum goals, and seasonal themes.
We would be honored to welcome your students to Camel’s Hump Farm and to work with your educators to design a field trip that aligns with your learning objectives.
